Whether you’re brand new to IMS or a seasoned veteran, I want to take a minute to do a quick overview of just what exactly it is we’re up to here. Because if you haven’t noticed yet, this isn’t your grandfather’s personal growth system. (Although, if you asked your grandfather about personal growth, he’d probably think you were talking about eating more fruits and vegetables.) The truth is, what we do may be out of the ordinary, but we also get out of the ordinary results. So let’s break it down and take a look at how what we do is different and why it works.

The IMS Difference:

We are not a self-help program. At least, not in the traditional sense. We’re not into clipping pictures from magazines to create a vision board or engaging in wishful thinking. We don’t offer pithy sayings or positive reinforcements or “happy thoughts”. Although those things may be valuable in some spaces, what we do here at IMS is teach you how to train your Inner Matrix - your unique thoughts, emotions, and nervous system that drives all actions you take. Our program is based in science and is built upon proven, repeatable results. All actions we take in our lives are driven by our Inner Matrix. By training this, you will be able to gain mastery over your emotional state and be positioned to take the actions that will create your desired results.

Training vs Therapy:

If you want to solve a problem, it’s certainly helpful to understand what’s causing the problem in the first place. But at some point you need to move beyond the analytical and start doing the work to create a solution. Most therapy models are built on a process of digging into the roots of the problem. Fear, pain, trauma, whatever the case may be, the therapist’s job is to explore, unravel, and dissect past experiences with the theory that a thorough understanding of those experiences will allow us to move past them. At IMS, our strategy is to recognize those experiences, to name the emotions they have trained within us, and learn how to shift the emotional state in order to create the results we want to create today. We accomplish this through a dialed/proven training system that gives you mastery over your Inner Matrix and, therefore, mastery over your emotional state.

Support of a Community:

All For One and One For All was the saying of the Three Musketeers. It’s also one of the cornerstones of our process here at IMS. Community. Your vision, your training, your results are yours and yours alone, but you don’t have to take the journey alone. Whether it's attending weekend programs, working with our Certified Trainers, or simply connecting with other IMS Members, we offer a community of like-minded people all creating their lives intentionally. And surrounding yourself with people who are up to stuff is a great way to motivate yourself to get up to stuff. The community knows what you’re going for and what you’re going through. It engenders accountability and camaraderie. You’ll speak a common language, brainstorm ideas together, and encourage each other through the most difficult of challenges. You can leverage the power of community as you navigate the road to personal mastery.

Inner Training vs Meditation:

Meditation is a great tool. It’s a way to take some time from your day to unplug, clear your mind, and turn off all those distracting voices in your head. And that’s all well and good, but here at IMS we take meditation to the next level. We call it Inner Training and it is at the very core of what we do. Remember, your Inner Matrix is your unique set of thoughts and emotions that, in turn, drive your choices, decisions and actions. Inner Training is an exercise in training the emotions and thoughts that will drive the choices, decisions and actions we need to take to create the results we desire. To put it simply, our Inner Training is outcome driven. It is about self mastery. We train you to pinpoint and cultivate the emotions and thoughts that align with the outcome you’re looking to create. Whether you are looking to build wealth, get into better shape, or improve your relationships, the first step to personal growth is getting your emotions in line with the outcome you want to achieve.
