How’s your Peace? With all the doings of everyday life, it can be challenging to slow down and take a breath. Deadlines at work, after-school activities for the kids, and don’t forget to hit the gym. You keep telling yourself you’ll find a half hour to soak in a hot tub, but that half hour just keeps getting pushed back. But what if you didn’t need that soak in order to access Peace? Even better, what if you could bring Peace with you everywhere you go?
IM Reset is where we train how to access Peace during even the most challenging times. We teach the tools, strategies and techniques for calming and resetting the nervous system so that we can engage life from a place of calm and serenity. But rather than just giving you my two cents, I thought I would let the results speak for themselves. Here’s what one of our long-time clients had to say about her first experiences at Reset:
“My first Reset, I didn't know what hit me. As soon as I arrived, I kind of freaked out, had a panic attack and almost bolted. Boy am I glad I didn't. I had such a wild experience and had a profound connection to the notion that I was not alone, that I was one with other people. It was so foreign to my current context, that I basically dismissed it as un-real. Don't get me wrong, it was a cool experience, but I put it in the category of the power of suggestion or something like this.
I was a pragmatist. A left-brain, logical thinker (not a feeler), and I had both feet firmly planted in reality. I went back to my life and thought of the experience like a bitchen dream or a wild high. A year or so passed and I was set to go back to Reset, and I was looking forward to another crazy adventure, a break from reality. I was super stressed out – I held a couple different leadership roles and had an enormous amount of family responsibility. I needed a break. I had trouble turning off my mind. My mind was the strongest and loudest part of who I was, always running the to-do list, always calculating risk, running scenarios and spinning plates.
On Friday, I noticed that I couldn't form a thought. I kept trying to pull up the to-do list and kept coming up empty. At first I thought it was novel, but then I started to panic. I accosted my Trainer and told him something was wrong, that I couldn't put a thought together, that my mind was blank, quiet. He laughed and said, “That's Peace.” I nearly fell over laughing and crying at the same time. If you had asked me, I would have told you I knew what peace was – you light a candle, draw a bath and pour a glass of wine. Or you spend the day at the spa. I knew peace as those experiences that were outside of myself. I didn't know Peace as a way of being within myself, as myself.
This was revolutionary! I actually wondered whether this newfound peace would threaten my productivity. I saw my highly active mind as one of my key assets and the reason for the success I had found in career and business. What I didn't realize was that having the capacity to be Peace and learning to access Peace on demand would make me so much more effective in my leadership roles. It made me present and potent when executing at work, and better able to switch gears into my role as a mom. I felt like I was more able to fully step into the various places in life and be more present and effective.”
This story is not a one-off. I’ve heard countless examples of similar experiences over the years and it’s what makes Reset our most popular programs. They sell out fast, so don’t miss your opportunity to learn how to access Peace in your own life. Click HERE to learn more about an upcoming IM Reset and book your spot today!
